About Us
Meals on Wheels of Terre Haute is a non-profit organization focused on providing food service and wellness checks to home-bound individuals in the community. With the help of dedicated volunteers, Meals on Wheels cooks nutritious meals that we deliver to local residents daily basis.
OUR MISSION.
Our mission is to extend a person's independent life style by providing nutritious meals and a wellness check from a dedicated group of volunteers. Our clients can be anyone who is temporarily or permanently in need of meal services.
Our clients must pay for their own food service, it is not paid by any government program. Therefore, donations to Terre Haute Meals on Wheels go to subsidizing the cost of the food service for our clients. With the cost of food rising over the past three years, all help is greatly appreciated and directly benefits our clients.
